acct software package provides The GNU Accounting utilities for process and login accounting, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install acct
acct is installed in your system.
Make ensure the acct package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep acct *
You will get with acct package name, version, architecture and description in a table
